At CS Sidekicks, our goal is to achieve more equal opportunity in computer science by engaging underserved Durham Public School students with an empowering program led by dedicated Duke University students.

Our methodology emphasizes leveraging well-developed, accessible resources that already exist, such as Code.org and CodeHS, along with personalized mentorship to teach students computer science. In this way, we not only expose students to computer science but empower them to become independent learners.
